Title: Steam Tank - no terrain tests
Post by: polybus11 on March 09, 2013, 01:26:07 AM
I guess the Steam tank would never need to take a dangerous terrain test since it is random movement so is never actually charging and cant pursue/overun/flee.  Is that right?  I remember last edition it couldn't even enter woods.

If the Random Move contacts the Enemy Target then you count as charging, now take the Dangerous Terrain.  Random movement through a Forest without contacting an enemy, no DT test.

And if it fails the DT test, it takes d6 wounds instead of just one, b/c it's a chariot.

Official Update Version 1.7 p. 9:
Q: Does a Random Move count as a ‘normal’ move for triggering a Dangerous Terrain test? (p74)
A: Yes, unless the model is making a charge, pursuit or flee move, in which case it counts as a move of the appropriate type.
