Converison of Arch Lectors?

Apart from using Luthor Huss what have people used as conversions for their Arch Lectors?
Praise Sigmar!

An old Citadel cleric looking up to Sigmar for guidance - He's carrying a cross so I snipped the top off to give a hammer! - and I put him on a  rock as the older miniatures are a little smaller than current ranges.

I haven't done it yet, (because it's going to be tough) but I'm taking the chaos undivided champion (dual axes) and converting him to look like the priest from the MoK trailer.
Cheers,
Andrew

I'm using the witchunter from mordheim that has a shaved head and carrying a torch.  I pretty much lopped off both his arms and green-stuffed new arms to have him carrying a 2 handed hammer over his head.

I bought a 40.000 witch hunter missionary, the one with the mitre (bishop's hat). The  funny club with tubes went for a simple hammer out of the EC-on-Griffin-box. Otherwise he goes pretty unaltered.

I use the old Warhammer Quest Warrior Priest character, who works nicely - he's still definitely a Warrior Priest, but very different in style to the current range of models.
You can't have everything - where would you put it?

The Redeemer from the Necromunda range; Archaon's hammer replacing his Eviscerator, he's already got a book in his other hand.  "Mounted" him on a shield held up by the Battle Pilgrims from the Relique - looked pretty bass-add as the rest of the unit was pilgrims and mordheim zealots.

I cut Volkmar in half, and put his top half on a pair of mounted Necromancer legs, and stuck him on a rearing steed with a Chaos horse head, along with some Mordhiem/Empire bitz.

I took the command figure, a gobbo wolf rider cape, white wolf knight arms/ cav hammer, the skull banner ornament off the knightly orders cmd sprue and some streamers off another banner ornament from the knightly orders cmd sprue.

First, I filed down the top of the command figure helmet to create a bit of a flat spot, did the same with the bottom of the skull banner top so the jaws of the skull would fit flush on the top of the helmet creating a crest.

Second, basic body assembly, torso, legs, head

Attached the white wolf arms (with both hands holding the hammer)

The gobbo wolf rider cape took a bit of work as the piece is made to fit so that it is flowing behind the model. Obviously this won't rank up well in a unit of infantry - sooo, I cut a bit off the clasps off the top so that it would "drape" down the model's back.

After the glue on the cape was cured, I attached the streamers to the skull so they hung down and slightly overlapped onto the cape.

Paint to match your colors.

This makes a great Arch Lector or EC w/ great weapon.
