I know there was a decent amount of info in the book, "Sigmars Heirs"

I didn't look through that section too carefully but I remember it

The books Witch Finder and Witch Killer have Morr followers in it and tell about them. They're not the main plot but you learn alot about them.
Here is a little about Knights of morr: http://uk.games-workshop.com/empire/knights%2Dchapters/12/

Ooooooo!  I know all kinds of things about Morr!  You can find lotsa stuff about him and other gods in the "Warhammer Fantasy Roleplaying" book.  Available from GW, go buy it now and give them another $40! :-P

1.  Morr's main symbol is a Raven.  Stone Portals and Black Roses are also symbols.

2.  His Priests are clad in black, hooded robes.  No decorations or other trinkets, symbols or anything.

3.  Morr loathes the Undead.  He truly hates them.  Morr says oppose them wherever they are discovered.

4.  Morr is not just the God Of Death. He is also the God Of Dreams.  Dreams are important, pay attention to them!

5.  Funerals, the dead and their families are to be respected.

6.  Morr is a Good deity.  He protects dreams and The Dead.

7.  He is married to Verena, Goddess Of Justice And Learning.  He seeks her council often.

8.  Everybody who tries to cheat death ends up at Morr's doorstep.  Without exception.

9.  Morr's Kingdom is much better than folks make it out to be.

10.  In the Old World, a cemetery is known as a "Garden Of Morr".

11.  Soldiers are very mindful of Morr.  Obviously.

Better watch it Dendo, spelling Morr in the wrong way could very well get you some attention from the never expected inquisition!

It as after all a deity whose name you're abusing here. :icon_wink:

Lol i was just going to say the same... misspelling Morr can be a bad thing... not from the witch hunters, but when you one time end up at Morr's doorstep.

I would like to add that one of their knightly orders are called "the black guard of Morr" i think and are incased in black armour and have trained to work together in pairs to destroy undead in a special fighting style. The first knight charges and opens up the enemy's defense and the other knights takes advantage and cuts off the head of the fiend.
This is mentioned in Witch finder, where they almost cut off the head of a vampire lord before it even notices it.
Hence they specialize in killing good old Undead.

The black guard also stands guard at burial grounds. (again in witch finder) they stand guard at plauge pits because none most disturbe the deads' peace.

Each dead much go through a ritual before being put into the earth, both to avoid them rising again, and to fare well to Morr's gate. This is done by the priests.

Although it's not directly Morr related, the WFRP book Realms of Sorcery has loads on the Amythist (lore of death) an mentions a bit on Morr there. It's a good general book, but I wouln't buy it for that alone.

The Night's Dark Masters (or some other title) book - that one about Sylvania and vampires - has some info about Morr and Morr's followers.

And Tome of Salvation. Both from WFRP IIed range of books.

Hammers of Ulric ( I know I know, more of Abnett's tripe - but i like it)

One of the main characters is a priest of Morr. It describes in it how the body is treated for burial (Or off the cliff of sighs in this book as it is set in Middenheim) and enchanted to mainly protect from the wim of necromancers. There is other stuff in their too.

Sure, cremation would seem like the easiest thing to do. It would even help to force back all those forest in which bandits, O&Gs, Beastmen and Chaos worshippers skulk. It's a win-win situation I tell ya!

Well in the book apparently the priests of Morr put protective wards or enchantments on the body to protect against it being used by necromancers, that somehow they would not be able to be 'raised'. In the book a rogue necromancer infiltrates the order and does not apply the rituals and chants properly and so the bodies would be then perfect for raising.

Dendo don't fix it make a stand and make sure everyone knows that you do not fear death (like me) (or mabye it is just me). He who fears death will die a thousand times. He who dies without fear will be accepted into the one true court.
