A new general (WIP) flew into Buggerhoff (silent H) on his phoenix today.  We have not gotten his name yet, but the imps in the picture box have made some wip pictures.  steveb

The sheer amount of miniatures you own is mind blowing.
Good job on the Phoenix. I wonder if the pointy-ears mind that you stole one of their sacred animals? ;)
My favorite though, is still the marching band. Such a great idea...

The recently postponed execution of chicken theif "snuffy smiff" is back on the schedule.  Ed wacker the executioner has finally shown up.  He reports that his horse was stolen while he was in the bushes "taking care of business". As a result he had to walk 20 leagues to get to Buggerhoff (silent H).  It has been reported that some drunken wags have taken to calling him "the horseless headsman".   Byline: Buggerhoff (silent H)Gazzette,  reporter, I. Can you do a quick size comparison of the dragon next to a empire regular dude. I was going to get one of these to put KF on as the Imperial "Steampowered" Dragon. Can't believe the bones dragon is so cheap.

Thanks :-P

Dragon looking awesome so far btw.

OH my! I've been kicking myself in the behind ever since passing on this during the Bones Kickstarter. Seeing your paintjob on it makes it look really good. I really need to get one now.

Realjuan, if I can find where I put that unit I will try to get some face shots, remind me every 4 or 5 days.  Right now it seems like I am in a time distortion field with total loss of awareness of my place on the flow of time.  Or maybe it is just old age and forgetfulness.  steveb

The word on the streets of Buggerhoff (silent H) is that there is a band of beastmen running amok in the north woods.  Commander of the night watch says that just between you and me they are not running amok, they are running a still.  He further states that as long as their biggest offense is overcharging for their product he is going to leave them alone.   steveb

As a side note, several of the wood cutters wives have reported seeing naked hairy butts pressed against their windows in the middle of the night,  the night watch commander has named this the case of the moonshiners.  Connection? we can only wait and see.  steveb

the final rest funeral home has supplied transport to the Army, it is guaranteed to keep the undead out, or in as the case may be.  It has been designed by the priest of Morr and will get you to your final rest.   steveb

Novogord, yes they are squats.  I used to do 40K before I started empire, every so often I will dig out a box of odds and ends and will find things I never finished and give them a shot.  These in particular I believe were the later plastic version, most of what I had back then were the metal ones.     steveb

A new wizard just rode into town today, his name is Abelard and he is here to conduct an account/evaluation of the work being done at the University, all of the professors are a twitter and the senior staff members appear to have gone fishing, the only reply we could get from the secretary was "how the #%&@ should I know" acolytes have been seen polishing, sweeping and doing things they normally could not be forced to do.   To keep up on the latest news be sure to buy a copy of the Buggerhoff (silent H) Gazzette.
I love these old metal mounted wizards, how much trouble woould it have been to add a mounted figure to the new wizard kit? steveb
