Thinking 18'' bubble and blocks of 100 Halberds, I recon my picture shows, we can have 250 Halberds with Hatred, +9 Ld bubble, +1 to Hit and +6 Ward...

Then 350 under the BSB Bubble, and 100 left just with the Ld9 benefit.

It's a 450 Halberd meat machine!

Roughly = 3300 pts

I want to out horde the new Chaos in style at 5K!!!

The wizzard wagons have to maintain 1inch apart.

This is also very similar to the way vampire counts run their armies with their regen bubble and corpse cart and 6" for invokation of nehek.

I see you're probably changing your mind about the walter and it's effectiveness but I'm still not completely sold on that. I wonder if you feel that it's safe to have such a target on your side... I mean, if I was your opponent I would try to eliminate it ASAP and so I would try to cannon/magic it to death immediately... Doeas it happend frequently? If so, how do you kit it to survive? If the walter falls, no more hatred, no more ld bubble... I was a supporter of your previous "configuration" of AL + 2 (or more, considering army size) priests...

If you're smart then your arch lector will have a charmed shield and/or ward save, it actually becomes a pretty tough target to take out.  And if your opponent shoots his cannons/whatever at your Altar first turn instead of at YOUR cannons, then you've probably got the game locked anyway!

And regarding your battle line Chumley, I hope your opponent doesn't have anything with a decent armour save!

Since this 3.3k will be used to form a 5k army, I think it's save to assume that 'ol Chumley will be adding 1.7k of 'screw wizards' and 'os knos espodes!' to round the overall capability of the army out. I would seriously consider Gelt were I him. That +6 means he can get off the bubble +2 AS pretty often making the whole formation all the tougher. Plus, if the enemy decided to play the same tricks then he's got Final Transmutation to help out.

Uhm, what flank are you talking about? I don't think you can move off the board for flank shots.

Even so, it's absurd to bring this up. A counter, who'd have thought that! Better hurry, change it to something that has no counter!

He raises a good point.  The total formation is 44" wide.  You need to stay at least 1" away from units, which only leaves 1" on both sides of the board for enemy models.  The only model that fits would be a 25mm base sorcerer on foot.

If you're running your sorcerer solo on foot expect a cannonball or two.

I have used drugs for experimentation , apart from the nasty ones, H and Crack.

I've done all sorts in past years, shrooms in Dam, columbian powder, all within the constraints and knowledge that i was dabbling only,

my favourite staple is red wine now,

i used to smoke a bung load of green in 97/8

 drugs are good if used sensibly
