Imperial Ogres
« on: January 05, 2025, 12:47:14 PM »

The Imperial Ogres caught my eye in the upcoming arcane journal, especially when combined with Hans Von Löwenhacke.

Any thoughts on fielding the big guys? A unit of 3 with Light Cannon seems hilarious if not the most competitive.

I picked up a box of Wargames Atlantic Ogres, which allow you to build 9 with loads of options.

I bought that exact same kit, and I can't wait to put paint them once it stops being 20 degrees out. They look so fun to paint.

Also, what a contrast to GW prices. I got 9 ogres for $31.

The GW ogres are three for $60.

I bought this kit earlier and made 3 Badlands ogres with GW, who changed allegiance to Imperial ogres as soon as the news broke. Fantastic kit. I plan to build the next 3 as you did with light cannons, and was thinking braces of ogre pistols for the last 3.
