Discord Group for your hobby pleasure

I've made a Disord server, so we can have a platform where we can just drop in at any time and hang out. If enough people are in it there will always be someone you can talk to no matter what place on earth you are. This is besides GP's montly gathering on Zoom, but Discord also has voice and video option channels you can hang out in.

So if anyone wants to join me and RealJuan in there just post here with your username or PM me for an invite link (those are one 1 day valid)

Thank you SKS and RealJuan for the chat. Sorry that my household of heavy internet users meant that I 'dropped out' several times, but doing audio and not video to lessen the strain seemed to work well.

15 halflings now have some blue paint on them. About 7 need corrections due to me being so bad at doing two things at the same time! But I'll keep practicing.

Discord is a free download. I know my buddy with a chromebook seems to use it fine.

Remember the server is a work in progress, so ideas, suggestions and comments are welcome.

I consider discord an active/inactive way of communications.

You can post like in the forums in the test/media channels and people can read/react/comment at their own time.
If you want to talk/video calls with others you can join a voice channel and see if someone hops in.

Some people will appear online a lot but are not there because they just let discord start with the machine or they are playing games or on other servers. Do not take it personally if they don't join you on the voice chats

If there is enough interest we can do an introduction pin to discord server rules, what you can do, you should not do and was is polite/impolite.

Yea it was great you joined in! It's all getting used to a bit ofcourse, for video/audio chat I use my laptop, but in the same time I can just hop on my phone and dump a picture or 2 in one of the threads :)

And I managed to finish cleaning the Coldstar up after recess shades

It's both on that link you can download a windows version or just use the webversion. For a chromebook I think you can just hop in the app store to get it?
