Unless anybody else is desperate to do it, I would love to GM the next W-E Diplomacy game.

@Guvnor: Yes, I do have yours. In fact, I have access to everybody's emaiils that has been involved in any of the W-E games (we all do - just send a 'list' command). But if anybody 'new' wants to sign up, then the email would be useful.

After a while you won't be able to keep up, some people send a message to everyone, once a day!

This does cut down a bit after the first moves, but just before and after moves, everyone goes crazy!

And I want something other than England and italy! I got generated randomly as england in 4 games. Not as bad as sigsfrieds 7 or so austria's but still annoying.

We need four more. Now that Morr is getting into 1902, perhaps people will be more willing to try starting anew? Kaiser Etharion?

Sig, you need to start your own thread. I would personally call what you have just attempted to be a 'Thread Hijack' although I dont mean it maliciously.

On the other hand players who were already involved in say this game may be intrested or people may think there are two threads recuriting for a diplomacy game but think there is only likly to be one game. As I only needed 1 or 2 players rather than 7 or so this seemed reasonable. Apolgies though to anyone annoyed by my actions.

I'm fine with it. I think he's probably more likely to steal potential Taal players by starting his own thread. This way, at least they're all in the same place.

Given that 'irene' will be winding up soon (that's right, Sigsfried, I'll pry you out of Iberia soon... sooner than you think!  :twisted:), I can take on one more game if you can't find anyone that's never played before.

And, Raging, how come you haven't signed up for either of these games?

I'm really enjoying Morr.

The problem is I only have my hotmail account, and my work email account and I really cannot manage 2 games coming into my hotmail - I am still not 100% used to the system with just the 1 game happening.

I am tempted to sign up with my work email... but... you know how that sort of thing can end up.

If you struggle for players mate, let me know and I will join your game. I can work something out.

Something to consider:

I know valmir and sigsfried and myself are all signed up to USOS, so by using USOS you can easily tell the difference between games.

It only really gets confusing when you have two games, same country, same judge.

Luckily nobody is talking to me in tokyo...

Would that solve your problem matt?

Erm,

I dont know... If I could set up mail rules with Hotmail (which AFAIK I cannot) then I could set a rule for each judge. Simple.

Now, I PROBABLY can get away with playing via my work account. The problem will be if somehow mail cannot be received by my work account - because it thinks the judge is spam or whatever, then I guess that will cause a delay for the other players whilst we either resolve it, or someone else takes over.

I'll probably play anyway, if you need me. I always find a way round these things!

Hmmm...

I can send out a broadcast in morr (as I know some people don't often check the site) and since Valmir is still in sigmar he can do the same, no?

More info can be found here.
To know how to actually play the game, look at the newbie guide that has been around here for some time.

It could also be usefull to read the post-game comments on previoud Warhammer-Empire Diplomacy games, found in the Count's Tavern forum.
