"Green Moon Over Grenzstadt" - A Warhammer Old World Hobby Log.
« on: October 23, 2025, 05:47:42 PM »

Hello,

I'm returning to post on this forum properly for the first time in about 10 years, after sitting on the sidelines since the Warhammer World exploded!

I spent the time in between 2015 and the release of  Old World wandering through other games systems, but never really left the Warhammer World. I started recreating the Grudgebringer Force from the Warhammer Dark Omen campaign which I have pictured above. Which has been a long term goal I first played the game. I first started collecting Warhammer back in the Late 90's, with High Elves and when I finally settled on the Empire in about 2004. The force was mostly made from Ebay salvages and some models that were imported from my original Empire force that survived the post 2015 Ebay cull of Warhammer I had (mostly plastics from 6th edition to fund new projects).

I am now going to use this force to create a Renegade Crowns list, and I eventually want to recreate the Warhammer Dark Omen Campaign on the Tabletop.

A long side this I am creating a more Empire focused Averland Mountain Guard Force too, led by Hans Von Lowenhacke and using the city state of Nuln List as its base for now.

I have also started a blog to document my Hobby https://averlandgoestowar.blogspot.com/

Anyway its Good to Be Back

Work has begun on Sven Carlson's militia cavalry. Going to use them as Freeblade Knights to support the Grudgebringer Cavalry.
