I know i'm going to face some of the most meta abusing lists, and the strongest armies, but it's a fun challenge. I just hope i get to overshoot my opponents.

- Why the handguns? I simply ran out of Crossbow models, and so I had to find another 20 points in the list, having to remove musicians.

I really like the way you are building them up and giving them a theme.
Gonna keep an eye on this.

Work has begun on Sven Carlson's militia cavalry. Going to use them as Freeblade Knights to support the Grudgebringer Cavalry.

Was the old Slan easy to assemble? I've heard nothing but horror stories about that kit

Warbow block and daemonologist combination is entirely doable in both Empire, Renegade Crowns and Bretonnian Exiles forces with the Empire archers and (outcast) wizards available in all of them. You could even supplement it with a battle mage dropping Curse of Arrow Attraction on the target unit for a few extra hits.

Granted, the Empire archers are better suited for a light infantry role (and probably pay a point or two for it), rather than big blocks, and might not do all that greatly in close combat (being open order and lacking command group or Horde special rule). For big defensive blocks of archers, the Bretonnian peasants with longbows, stakes and peasant banners are probably the most cost-effective choice.

Warbow block might actually be useful for Demonologist to get the Demonic vessal due to volley fire and high static combat resolution said block would have in melee combat.

Wizard of course would pack blackpowder gun and mutter something about "primitives" while part of said block.

I'd rather just use crossbows. 30" range, S4 just like demonology empowered warbow, Armour bane 2 just like an unit carrying the razor banner. All of this, for 2 points per model. You have an additional -1 to hit if you move, but moving is optional and with 30" range you cover a much bigger area.

Too bad we don't get bows

Captains, Hireling Outriders and Outcast Wizards (with Noble Outlaw origins) get access to various kinds of bows. And Empire archers come with warbows.

But I have to admit that a warbow option for sellsword infantry (say at +2 points per model) would be nice, mainly because I do have a whole lot of human archers with mail shirts and breastplates that would be nice to be able to field WYSIWYG (other than as Bretonnian peasants, which is not what they look like). Or alternatively an option for Empire archers to purchase light armour at +1 point per model.

With bows we could have properly modeled english bowmen with armour at agincourt, maybe even a veteran unit with full plate shield and bow rivalling the lothern seaguard (with a little.bit of help from a demonologist). Even without it, the amour bane (2) standard would have been pretty good on a column of, say, 32 sellswords in a 4x8 formation with 16 shooting all the time. Or 40 on a 5x8 with 24 shooting.

I look forward to following this!
