Looks good - but I can't quite get the feeling of darkness (I guess the full unit will help convey that more...

and they done :)

and so is the arch lector.. i miss some torch light on him though, so i might sculpt one for him to wear on his back glowing upon him from behind.

Please note the dark colours and the few high lights - they are to stay with the theme :)

I really like the night time theme you have going (now that I have seen more).

More painting!

Progress on the unit filler!

Instead of having a soldier fighting a vampire, i'll make a soldier getting ready to stab a sleeping vampire (using the one from the black coach)

Update on the pedestal for the vampires casket:

Now i just need the casket itself

The idea is also to put a torch from the black coach model on a stick by one of the edges of the pedestal so this swordunit (remember its a unit filler) also would have candle light shine (how romantic <3)

One suggestion with your Swordsman’s Standard Bearer – if you trim off the small support stick, that’s hammered into the bottom of the post itself, it will look more like he’s resting the standard on a pile of rocks rather than leaning against a signpost. If it had been my idea I would cut the rocks off as well so that he is just holding it.

good point, but i was mainly going for the 'leaning on the signpost'-effect :D

Sorry, It just that I cannot come to terms with units that move scenery about with them. They may look great while on a display shelf but it can look ridiculous on a gaming table.

(says he who has a hole as a unit filler for dwarf miners - hoping I haven’t offended anyone)
