Novogord's Astral Claws
« on: January 31, 2012, 08:56:39 PM »
Hello WE,

Since I'm painting figures for the 2012 painting challenge, I will start a log of my Space Marines army.
These will be Astral Claws, but with the rules from Blood Angels.
I'm planning on a 1750 point list (which will follow).
But now some of my first marines that will be in the force:
The Captain I painted this month.

Some tactical and devestator marines:

Some terminators:

First Rhino:

C&C always welcome!

Nice paint job.  I like the scheme too.

What model did you use for the captain?

Thanks everyone for the nice comments!

@Sig & Fandir: The Sherman look at the end of ww2 was indeed a great example for this Rhino. I think that a city fight environment requires something special to be done at your tanks. I'm only wondering if I will add some stuff to my Land Raider to, not sure jet. And how I will do it...

@ Mr. Rufus: I have already started!

@ Finlay: I'm hoping I can field a whole painted army by EB...

@ Crimson: That is actually a Space Marines Sternguard Veteran, in metal though.

This is the list I'm working to:

Sorry I missed this before.

Looks like some good detail has been included on the bases, and a nice weathered look to the Space Marines. :eusa_clap: :icon_cool:

Looking forward to seeing the Rhino when its completed.
